Creator Program Privacy Policy

Effective Date: April 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Turf Warz LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you apply to or participate in the Turf Warz Creator Program (the "Creator Program"). It applies to the Creator Program application form at influencer.turfwarz.com and the auth-gated Creator dashboard at influencer.turfwarz.com/dashboard. Your use of the Turf Warz mobile application is governed by our main Privacy Policy; this document only covers Creator Program activity.

1. Information We Collect

When you apply to the Creator Program, we collect the following information through the application form:

We do not collect your legal name, phone number, mailing address, or payment information through the Creator Program application.

2. Information We Generate If You're Approved

If your application is approved, we issue you an invite code and promote your Turf Warz account to the "inviter" role. From that point on, we generate and store the following Creator Program data associated with your account:

• Your linked invite code — the unique code we issue you so your followers can sign up
• Invites sent and redeemed — counts of invites you've sent and how many were used to create accounts
• Downstream activity counts — aggregate counts of how many of your invitees have completed at least one walk and how many have claimed at least one territory. These are counts only; we do not expose the identities, walk routes, or territory locations of your invitees to you
• Creator leaderboard position — your username and redeemed-invite count, displayed to other approved creators on the auth-gated Creator dashboard

This data is generated automatically from gameplay activity. It does not require any additional disclosure from you beyond your initial application.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your Creator Program information is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Application review — to evaluate whether your account fits the Denver early-access creator cohort
• Decision communication — to email you the outcome of your application and, if approved, your invite code and dashboard instructions
• Dashboard analytics — to render your invites-sent / redeemed / walked / claimed stats on your private Creator dashboard
• Creator leaderboard — to rank approved creators by redeemed invites for display on the auth-gated dashboard
• Program operations — to maintain the integrity of the invite system, detect abuse, and contact you about Creator Program changes
• Fraud prevention — to detect manipulation of the invite or referral system using IP address data and submission patterns

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your Creator Program information. Your data may be shared only with the following:

• Email service provider (Resend) — to deliver application confirmations, decision emails, and your creator invite code
• Authentication provider (Auth0) — when you sign in to the Creator dashboard, Auth0 processes your login and issues your session token. Auth0's collection and use of this data is governed by Auth0's privacy practices
• Image hosting (Cloudinary) — only if you submit images as part of an editorial or marketing collaboration; the standard application form does not collect images
• Logging provider (Logtail) — application logs (including IP addresses and timestamps) are forwarded to our logging provider for debugging and abuse monitoring

We will not share your application data, social handle, or follower information with any third party for their own marketing purposes.

5. Public Visibility

The Creator Program application form and the Creator dashboard are not public. Your application contents are visible only to Turf Warz administrators reviewing applications. Your dashboard, including your invite metrics and your position on the Creator leaderboard, is visible only to authenticated approved creators and Turf Warz administrators.

Separately, the Turf Warz main app may display Creator Program participation on public web pages — for example, on the public Hall of Fame, blog editorial features, or the influencer.turfwarz.com landing page. This kind of public exposure is governed by our main Privacy Policy and only happens with your participation.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
• Database access restricted to authorized personnel
• Auth0-issued JWTs (RS256) for dashboard authentication
• Rate limiting on the application form to prevent automated abuse

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

7. Communications

By applying to the Creator Program you consent to receive email about the status of your application, your creator invite code (if approved), and material changes to the Creator Program. These are operational messages, not marketing communications, and you cannot opt out of them while your application or creator status is active. If you no longer wish to participate, contact us at [email protected] and we will withdraw your application or revoke your inviter role on request.

If you also opt in to general Turf Warz news and updates through the app or waitlist, those mailings are governed separately and you can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any such email.

8. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your Creator Program information:

• Access — You may request to know what information we hold about your application and Creator Program activity
• Deletion — You may request removal of your application and associated Creator Program data at any time. Note that if you have already redeemed creator invites, the resulting downstream user accounts are governed by the main Turf Warz Privacy Policy and are not affected by deletion of your Creator Program data
• Correction — You may request correction of inaccurate information you provided on your application
• Withdrawal — You may withdraw a pending application or ask us to revoke your inviter role at any time

9. Cookies and Tracking

The public Creator Program landing page uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure aggregate usage such as page views and application submissions. GA4 may set first-party cookies to distinguish unique visitors. We do not use this data to identify you personally. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. The auth-gated Creator dashboard does not run GA4 and does not place advertising cookies.

10. Children's Privacy

The Creator Program is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly accept Creator Program applications from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has applied to the Creator Program, please contact us and we will delete the application.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" above. Material changes will also be communicated by email to currently approved creators. Your continued participation in the Creator Program after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
